What has Kolby Bothe been up to?
Recently I have been doing a lot of nothing, almost taking a Holiday vaciation. I have been working on a few projects now and then, but mostly I have been hanging out with my friends and having a good time. There are several websites I am currently working on, but only high-end ones, also a couple of personal websites that I plan on launching soon. I will post more information on those in the future. Other than that I have been just being myself and taking it easy and enjoying the holidays!
Christmas
Christmas was great! My two nephews are really getting big (Age 3 and 2) and seeing their faces Christmas morning when they would open up their presents really made me happy. Those two boys are the cutest kids in the world, and seeing them so excited really puts a huge smile on my face. Christmas eve we went over to my Grandparents and hung out with the family, and Christmas night my brother, dad and I went over to my Aunts house to eat some more and watch the Cowboy (depressing) game on TV.
Ski Trip
I went to Colorado a couple of weeks ago with my brother and dad and had a blast! It was my first time to see the Mountains and wow they are amazing! I really wanted to try and Snowboard but I only got the opportunity to Ski. The first day it was insanely hard and I couldn’t stop for nothing, I could pick up speed but could not stop if my life depended on it so I just took the easy way out and pretty much dove into the Snow everytime. Although on the second day I nailed it, I fell maybe 3 times the entire day and that was when I was trying to do some hard things. I am a really athletic person so I got really frustrated the first day, but the second day I knew I wasn’t going to mess up! Overal we had a great time. It was some much needed time for the 3 of us to spend together before we move out.
Website Updates
I have been working on a few websites lately, Project 1 is a Movie Based site that is going to be a movie review blog powered by Word Press that is fully integrated to vBulletin. I talked with Alan yesterday and he wants me to redo the TanToday.com website and make it more professional. This is the 4th time I have done work for Alan, I am glad he is a returning customer. I have many of those these days, having old clients come back for more work always makes me happy. I have also been working on a few of my personal websites lately, I will disclose more information about these at a later time!
Client Section
I have purchased a Project Management Script that I will now be using to directly connect to all clients through this program rather through Email. This will keep all projects much more organized and will keep the clients up-to-date on their projects. Since communication is something I might lack on sometimes, this will surely solve the problem. It has a lot of sweet features and I plan on customizing it a lot more for better integration and user functionality.
Dallas Cowboys
All I can say is, get your act together. You had your chances of winning the East for the first time since 1998 and you get BLOWN out on Christmas. I honestly don’t really blame the players as much as I do the Coaches. Again for a second week in a row the play calling was terrible. I agree with Terrell Owens that he needs to get involved much earlier in the game. True he might lead the league in drops, but must I remind you that he also leads the league in TD Catches at 12? T.O. WILL drop balls, but I promise you he will catch more balls than he drops. Terrell Owens and Terry Glenn are by far two of our offensive powerhouses, and they didn’t get the ball thrown their way at all this past week. Hopefully Bill Parcells gets him and his coaches on the same page so we can start playing like we should be again. Instead of Tuna pointing fingers at his players, he needs to look in the mirror before Jones sends him packing at the end of the season.
New Apartment
Thats right! My brother and I finally got an apartment. It is a very nice apartment located in Ft. Worth, about 1 minute (seriously) from Downtown! We move in on January 2nd so that will really be a long and busy day, I have a lot of stuff that I have to move and hopefully my internet will be setup and activated by the time I move in so I won’t be out at all, but for some reason I doubt that happens. I really look forward to moving because a lot of stuff is going to be tossed out and reorganized, I have a lot of old crap that I need to get rid of and I am looking forward to making a fresh start.
That is all the updates I have for today, I will try to start posting more with updates and what not. I am really trying to get this page indexed into Google so I can start to clear my name from all the crap Wade Davidson has done to me.
