It is safe to say that AVSForum.com is fully launched, up and functional. Saturday me and David seriously stayed online from about 7:00AM until about 9:00 or so that night. I must say I woke up a bit late and David scared the hell out of me when he called me so I knew I screwed that up. Anyways, other than that it was just a long process of fixing things we didn’t really see in the beta version when we were working on it.

Overall I think the project was a great success, right now the server loads are a bit high but we are working on trying to get some speed performance mods going on so that they will drop. Besides that, I think most of the users like it, although it is hard to please nearly 500,000 members.

I know that the most of you who come to this are not Dallas Cowboy fans, but hey…I am and this is my site and I am bored so I feel like writing this. After watching and reading a lot about the Cowboys this year lets just say that I am getting really pumped up about the start of the season. We have a lot of good things happening right now with the team and I am excited to watch us progress throughout the season.

At first I was a bit nervous about the hiring of Wade Phillips as the Cowboys head coach, I wanted to bring in a more offensive minded coach, but hey…that didn’t happen. Now, I am glad Phillips was brought in because we have one of the best defenses is in the league and now its time to just dominate people. There is so much talent on both sides of the ball it will just be a lot of fun to watch. Hopefully directv offers High Definition in the Downtown Fort Worth area by that time. I can’t believe I bought this cool TV to just watch regular crap on it, man that sucks.

Hopefully I get to go to a few games this season, I will probably pick out 3 or 4 and go to them.

I will post some more stuff later on in regards to work and other things going on.
