Here’s an update about what’s been going on with me lately and a few personal projects I’m working on.
I’m going to start blogging more, but those of you that know me know that I’ve said I’m going to start blogging for years, and I still haven’t. Well, that’s all about to change. A few things are going on…
- Relivo Media
- FanYap
- StartupScene
- TryNot.com (still trying to figure this one out)
- FiveBuy
The new Relivo.com website will be launching in August, September will be the 5 year anniversary of Relivo and we have come such a long way. We’re almost half way through 2011 and we have already completed more websites in 6 months than in all of 2010. While that might sound great, it’s exactly what we don’t want to do. We’re trying to focus on larger projects with possible partnerships and long term work. Not just creating websites and moving on to the next, although I’m definitely not complaining about the amount of work. It’s just I’m going to try and take the business in a different direction than it has been going for the last 5 years. We’ll see how it all plays out, it should be interesting as we slowly shift our focus.
While FanYap v1 was pretty good and attracted around 500 members, for very little money invested in to it, version #2 (launching in August) is going to blow the current site away. We’re planning on launching a iPhone and hopefully a iPad application as well. We’ve got a lot of big plans, but we’re working with a limited amount of funds & resources since we haven’t went after a angel investor yet. We want to try and grow it as much as we can on our own before we go and ask for a lot of money for development & marketing.
This is a new project that I’m extremely excited about. The domain is still pending transfer from SEDO, I just picked it up on Thursday. I’ve got some BIG plans for this project that is going to be extremely attractive to any entrepreneur, designer, developer, marketer, angel investor, or anyone who is involved in the tech start-up scene around the world. StartupScene.com will be the greatest community for everyone who is launching and developing new projects. Just give me a couple of years…
I think this definitely has some potential for an iPhone app or a mini social wisdom website, where people can share things they should trynot to do and track progress….blah, who knows – this one is a ways off & obviously the concept is still in the planning stages.
Groupon killer? Probably not, but this is going to be a revolutionary eCommerce shopping website. I can’t disclose ANYTHING about this project. Coming in 2012.
Stay tuned for more updates and blog posts and please feel free to contact me about any work that you need.
All the best,
